About the game

You lean on a wall that isn’t quite there. Then you’re somewhere else.

There is a place behind the world, and you get there by accident. It smells of old wet carpet and hums at 120 Hz. It goes on forever. You are not the first to fall in — people have been leaving chalk marks, cassette tapes and warnings for as long as there have been rooms.

Something in the building has been listening to all of them. It has learned to talk. It uses the voice of a little girl, and she keeps telling you the way out over the PA.

Cross ten levels, each larger and more wrong than the last. Map the maze in chalk. Keep your light. Don’t look straight at the figures at the end of the corridor. And decide — at the very end — whether you trust her.

How it scares you

Ninety percent dread. Ten percent total terror.

01

The Almost

Nine-tenths of the time, nothing attacks you. Figures stand at the end of corridors. Fingers wrap a corner. Look straight at them and they’re gone.

02

Sound is half the game

The 120 Hz hum, the room tone, your own footsteps echoing wrong — and her voice, fully acted, on every speaker in the building. Headphones recommended.

03

You cannot die

But you can lose. Being caught costs you time, ground, light and lucidity — and maybe the ending. No death screens. No reloads. It just keeps going.

04

Scale is the enemy

Every level is bigger and more wrong than the last. The maze is the antagonist. Getting lost is the threat. Chalk is your only map.

Ten levels down

Every floor is bigger, and more wrong.

Don’t skip ahead.

  1. L01

    The Lobby

Mono-yellow. Damp carpet. Something follows the drips.

  2. L02

    The Habitable Zone

Concrete, dead lights, and a security desk that still logs you in.

  3. L03

    Pipe Dreams

Heat, steam, and pipes that knock back.

  4. L04

    The Abandoned Office

Every window looks out on the same evening.

  5. L05

    The Terror Hotel

Do not disturb. Something already has.

  6. L06

    Lights Out

You are the only light source. Act like it.

  7. L07

    The Poolrooms

Warm water, white tile, and a drain that is listening.

  8. L08

    [ redacted ]

You’ll have to see this one for yourself.

  9. L09

You’ll have to see this one for yourself.

What you’ll need

  • A WebGPU browser — Chrome or Edge 113+ on desktop recommended. Safari 26+ and Firefox with WebGPU also work.
  • A decent GPU — any recent dedicated card, or Apple Silicon / modern integrated graphics. The game scales itself to hold the frame rate.
  • Keyboard & mouse or a gamepad — WASD to move, E to interact, F for chalk, L for light.
  • Headphones — honestly, half the game is sound.

Contains flashing lights, loud sudden sounds and disturbing imagery. See our accessibility & photosensitivity notes and support FAQ.
