1. About these terms
These terms form an agreement between you and Solo Frogs Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (“Solo Frogs”, “we”, “us”). By using solofrogs.com (the “Site”), creating an account, or playing any game we host (each a “Game”), you agree to them. Playing a Game is also covered by our Game Licence, and our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
If you don't agree, please don't use the Site. If you're under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian is happy for you to use it.
2. Using the Site
You may browse the Site and play our Games for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. We work hard to keep everything available, but the Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis — we may change, pause or withdraw any part of it, including any Game, at any time, for example to fix bugs, add content or carry out maintenance.
3. Your account
- You don't need an account to play. An account lets you sync save files across devices.
- Give us accurate details, keep your password private, and tell us straight away at support@solofrogs.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
- You're responsible for activity on your account. One account per person, please.
- You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents us.
4. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- break the law, or use the Site to harass, threaten or harm anyone;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other players' accounts or saves;
- overload, scrape, probe or disrupt the Site, or use bots to create accounts or send messages;
- introduce malware, or tamper with the Games in ways that affect other people or our servers;
- use the contact form to send spam or abusive content;
- re-host, frame, sell or otherwise commercially exploit our Games or content without written permission.
Modding and tinkering for your own fun on your own machine is fine — just don't redistribute our work, and don't touch the servers.
5. Our content and intellectual property
The Games, characters (including the Solo Frogs frog), artwork, music, voice performances, code, trailers, logos and all other content on the Site belong to Solo Frogs or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws. “Solo Frogs”, “HUM” and our logos are our trade marks.
We love fan art, let's-plays and streams. You're welcome to stream or record our Games and to monetise those videos on platforms like YouTube and Twitch, as long as you add your own commentary or creative input and don't claim the work as your own. Press materials in our press kit can be used for editorial coverage.
6. Content warnings
Some of our Games are horror. HUM contains disturbing imagery, sudden loud sounds, themes of isolation and loss, and flashing or flickering lights. We recommend it for players aged 16+. Please read our Accessibility Statement for photosensitivity information before playing.
7. Feedback
If you send us ideas, bug reports or suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve our Games without owing you anything. We're grateful all the same.
8. Our liability to you
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Our Games are currently provided free of charge. Subject to the paragraph above, we are not liable for: losses that weren't foreseeable; loss of saved game data (please keep cloud sync on if your progress matters to you); business losses, as the Site is for personal use; or problems caused by your device, browser, graphics drivers or internet connection. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to £100.
9. Links to other sites
We may link to other websites and social platforms. We aren't responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the studio and our Games evolve. We'll change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, email account holders in advance. Continuing to use the Site after changes take effect means you accept them.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — although if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
