This policy explains the small number of cookies and similar browser storage technologies used on solofrogs.com and in the games we host. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy and follows the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to store. “Similar technologies” include localStorage, which lets a page keep data on your own device. Under PECR, storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service you've asked for doesn't need consent — everything we use falls into that category.

2. Cookies we set

NamePurposeDuration
solofrogs_sessionKeeps you signed in and remembers form state between pages.2 hours of inactivity, or until you sign out
XSRF-TOKENSecurity token that protects forms against cross-site request forgery.2 hours
remember_web_*Only if you tick “Remember me” when signing in — keeps you signed in on this device.Up to 5 years, or until you sign out

3. Browser storage our games use

KeyPurpose
HUM saves & checkpointsYour progress, stored on your device so you can continue where you left off.
HUM settingsVolume, mouse sensitivity, subtitles and graphics preferences.
sf_cookie_noticeRemembers that you've dismissed the cookie notice so we don't show it again.

This data stays in your browser. If you sign in, the game can sync your save slots to your account — see the Privacy Policy for how cloud saves are stored.

4. Third parties

We don't use third-party cookies. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts; Google receives your IP address to deliver them but doesn't set cookies on our pages for this. Video on our site is self-hosted, so watching a trailer doesn't involve YouTube or any other tracker.

5. Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies will stop sign-in and forms from working, but you can still play our games as a guest. Clearing site data for solofrogs.com will also clear your local game saves — sign in and sync first if you want to keep them.

6. Changes

If we ever add a non-essential cookie we'll update this page first and ask for your consent before setting it.
