HUM is out. Go in.

Our first game is live and free to play in your browser. Ten levels, four endings, one voice on the PA. Headphones on.

It’s here. HUM — our first game, our flagship, the thing we’ve been quietly losing sleep over — is out now and free to play, right here in your browser. No launcher, no download, no install. Click, put your headphones on, and go in.

HUM is a first-person horror game set in the Backrooms: the endless, humming, mono-yellow office you fall into when you lean on a wall that isn’t quite there. A little girl’s voice on the building’s PA keeps telling you the way out. The further you get, the less sure you’ll be that she wants you to leave.

What’s in the box

  • Ten levels, from the Lobby to the Poolrooms to the Suburbs and beyond — each larger and more wrong than the last.
  • Four endings, decided by what you carry, what you keep and what you leave behind.
  • A fully voiced cast, tapes, PA broadcasts and things that talk back through the walls.
  • No death screens. You cannot die in HUM. You can only lose.
  • Cloud saves. Sign in and your wanderer follows you between machines.

Running it well

HUM runs on WebGPU, the new graphics layer in modern browsers. For the best experience use a recent desktop Chrome or Edge on a machine with a dedicated or recent integrated GPU. Our support page has the full list and some tuning tips.
